About the Art

In 2013, in an effort to channel the deep struggles I was facing with my own mental health, I began exploring the intricacies of fluid art and abstract expressionism. Through thousands of hours of trial and error I eventually found myself immersed in abstract story telling and fluid paintings became the means by which I told my story. Each piece of art I create has it’s own unique story to tell while also leaving room for the viewer to impart a story of their own.

Beginning with a deep breath and a short grounding meditation I paint the energy I feel all around me. Using my intuition as a guide, I combine color, texture and movement to express the inner workings of the heart, mind and psyche. The artwork I create and the process of creating it represents a lifelong journey in the search for self-love and emotional wellness. Through abstract story telling, each piece transposes itself onto the viewer, making it difficult to forget not only its uniqueness but also how it made you feel.
