“Moon Cycle” is part of the Many Moods 2020 fine art collection consisting of thirteen original pieces of abstract expression meant to engage and stimulate thought, mood and emotion. This is a 10” mixed media original on a cradled Birchwood gallery panel nestled within an 11” handcrafted solid Birch frame. The piece features a combination of inks, fluid acrylics, gold foil and three layers of glass-like epoxy resin. Hiding within the piece is a home-theater quality LED lighting system that features the ability to set the lighting to a sound sensing mode that displays a light show based on the sound in the room. The lighting system has 16 million color variations and multiple settings to set the mood. Comes with an instruction manual for the lighting. Any wires tuck neatly behind the piece. Lighting is not visible when piece is hung. Do NOT touch the LED lighting or handle it roughly when you open your piece.

“Moon Cycle” is an ode to the moon and its rhythms because just like it’s pull on the ocean we also have tides and waves. The Moon faithfully rises each night and pulls us into its embrace. Depending on it’s phase we can be powerfully pulled in the direction of the moon. This piece is a celestial dedication to the layers we shed each time the Moon goes through a new phase and each time our bodies follow new cycles.
