24x36x2” original mixed media artwork affixed to deep cradled Birchwood. The beautiful piece of original artwork is encapsulated in several layers of artist-grade epoxy resin for a glass-like finish. The piece has a contemporary antique look that is accented with stunning pops of Gold leaf channeling the Japanese tradition of Kintsugi: the art of repairing broken pottery by mending the areas of breakage with Gold.

Hanging wire is installed on the back of each piece. Your artwork will come signed, dated and branded by the artist with a certificate of authenticity.

Meaning behind the piece:

This piece is symbolic of the sacred connection between the breath and emotional healing. The ability to anchor oneself into the energy of the present moment through the cycle of the breath is often lost during times of great struggle. The feeling when you have felt smothered by loss, grief and struggle and that first glorious breath you take on the path towards healing.

I come up for air...

For the first time truly exhaling

Expelling what’s no longer needed. 

Letting go of what is heavy.

I breathe in...

Allowing my lungs to fill.

To expand with an invisible elixir. 

An elixir so sweet the nervous system sighs.

I repeat this process...

Over and over again.

Breathing in, breathing out.

Holding in what is needed and letting go of what is not.

For the first time I breathe without strain...

Without weighted effort.

I allow the breath to pull me to my center.

To show me my full potential.

To ground me to my core.
