A garden where souls can meet again amongst the sweet smell of wildflowers, protected from the pain of what is missing.
Each work in this series of studies holds multiple possible perspectives and concepts, the metallic mica shifting colors as you move through the piece.
Which perspective do you see? Does this piece tell of joy, sorrow, happiness or something else?
These pieces are a visual representation of the safe and magical spaces we can create in our imagination. Spaces where it’s safe to ask the question “who am I? what is my purpose here?” Meant to invite the viewer to step right into the work, each piece is created with several layers of play, curiosity and emotion.
The Healing Secret Gardens are painted to be a safe world for our inner child to explore that is also sophisticated enough to keep the wise adult engaged and enthralled.
